Prowind - everlasting sunshine

Against a background of increasing worldwide population and a disproportionally growing energy demand, the search is on everywhere in the world for alternatives to primary energy sources such as oil and gas.

Photovoltaics (PV) allows pure sunlight to be directly converted into electrical power.  Such generation facilities with photovoltaic technology make use of one of the most environmentally friendly types of energy production.

Prowind is currently working on it largest PV project so far.  This project is located on the island of Sicily in sunny Italy and has a potential maximum yield of 4 MW.  Further projects are currently being examined with regard to feasibility.
